Bryon Reed Endorses Steve Yates for Lieutenant Governor
2018 is an important year for the future of Idaho. Choosing the next Governor and Lieutenant Governor will determine the direction of our state for many years to come. Historically, Lieutenant Governors have had a key role in economic development for the state, working to bring investment to Idaho. They have also served as co-chair of the LINE (Leadership in Nuclear Energy) Commission. Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity of getting to know Steve Yates, who is running for Lieutenant Governor. Steve is uniquely qualified to fill both of these roles as a Lieutenant Governor.
Make calls for Steve!
Primary Election Day is soon approaching, and before we know it, May 15th will be here and it will be time to select new leaders for Idaho. 2018 is a special time for Idaho. For the first time in a long time, we don’t have a federal government thinking of new ways to trample on states’ rights. With Idahoans choosing a new Governor and Lieutenant Governor at the ballot this year, the time for conservative change is now.
State government needs a tune-up.
My father was a small town mechanic growing up. The first thing he’d do every time someone brought a car in for a fix was to diagnose the problem. Customers would often bring their vehicles to my dad, and describe a journey of one expensive and complicated FIX after another – which didn’t actually solve the problem. Dad would often discover the solution was not expensive or complicated at all – but a simple fix.
